The Association for Religion, Ecology, and Society (ARES) offers individuals and groups with a religious perspective resources for practicing a more green lifestyle while joining with others who have also become conscious of our environmental impact. The ARES focuses on the interrelation of ecological realities with religion and soceity while linking individuals, households, faith groups, organizations, and other societal institutions together through a network of ecological ethics, education, and advocacy.
Northwest Earth Institute
The mission of NWEI is to motivate individuals to examine and transform personal values and habits, to accept responsibility for the Earth, and
to act on that commitment.
They develop innovative programs that have been offered by local organizers in more than 900 communities in all 50 states. NWEI’s work has been featured in two PBS documentaries, Affluenza and Escape from Affluenza, as well as a National Public Radio series, Deep Ecology for the 21st Century.

The National Association
of LGBT Community Centers

The Akha Heritage Foundation
Founded in 1991, the Akha Heritage Foundation is a not-for-profit, non-religiously or politically affiliated, grassroots organization working in northern Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and China. They are dedicated to working in partnership with the Akha to improve their lives by defending their human rights and culture, promoting self determination, and assisting with nutritional, medical and educational needs. Farm Sanctuary
